SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On 08/03/22 at approximately 1703 hours, Troopers responded to a report of a three-car crash on US Route 7 north of the intersection with Middlebrook Road in the Town of Ferrisburgh. Investigation revealed V#2 was behind V#3 and both were stopped in traffic, facing south. At that time, OP#1 followed too closely behind V#2 and was not able to stop in time. As a result, V#1 rear-ended V#2, which forced V#2 to rear-end V#3. OP#1 was transported to Porter Medical Center for suspected minor injuries. OP#3 was precautionarily transported to Porter Medical Center.
Troopers were assisted on scene by members of the Ferrisburgh Fire Department and Vergennes Area Rescue Squad.
