SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 7/3/2022, at approximately 1245 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks responded to a two-vehicle crash on VT RT 30 at the intersection of North Pawlet Road, in the Town of West Pawlet. Investigation revealed Operator #1 (Smith) was operating Vehicle #1 south on North Pawlet Road. Operator #2 (Maynes) was operating Vehicle #2 north on VT RT 30. Operator #1 failed to stop at a stop sign and proceeded into the intersection of VT RT 30 where it was struck by Vehicle #2.
