On the above listed date and time, the Vermont State Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on near 2370 Barton Orleans Road in the Town of Barton. Investigation revealed Davis had slowed down while traveling north and intended to turn right into the parking lot of Parkview Garage. Silvestro failed to yield to Davis who was turning right and crashed into the rear end of Davis’s vehicle while also traveling north. It was determined that Silvestro was operating unnecessarily close to Davis, resulting in little to no time to yield to Davis, who was turning right. Davis reported non-life-threatening injuries. Silvestro reported no injuries. Silvestro’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Grenier’s Towing. Silvestro was issued a VCVC for Title 23 V.S.A. 1039(a), Following too closely and Title 23 V.S.A. 676, Operating after suspension.
