SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On the above date and time, Vermont State Police responded to a two-car motor vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. Route 7 and U.S. Route 4 in Rutland Town, Vermont.

Upon arrival, Troopers learned vehicle #1 (Sutton) was traveling southbound on U.S. Route 7 when he failed to stop for a red light and collided with vehicle #2 (Bourn) who was turning north on U.S. Route 7. Vehicle #3 (Palmer) stopped prior to the crash but sustained minor injury avoiding the crash. The operators of vehicle #1 and vehicle #2 sustained no injuries. Sutton was issued a warning for failing to abide by traffic signals, a violation of title 23 V.S.A. 1022.
