SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On the above date and time, Troopers with Vermont State Police responded to a crash with reported injuries on VT Route 131 in the town of Weathersfield, Windsor County, Vermont. Investigation into the crash revealed a line of cars were traveling westbound when the first vehicle slowed to a near stop to make a left turn. Vehicle #1 was the fourth vehicle in the line and did not notice the vehicles in front of him slowing down. Vehicle #1 rear ended Vehicle #2 into Vehicle #3. The operator of Vehicle #2, Colon, suffered suspected whip-lash from the crash and was brought to Springfield Hospital by personal vehicle. Vermont State Police were assisted by Ascutney Fire Department and Twinline Towing.

Byron will be issued a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint for violation of T23 VSA 1039; Following Too Closely.
