SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 06/10/2022 at approximately 0904 hours, Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to a motor vehicle crash located on VT Route 103, east of Village Street, in East Wallingford, VT. Operator #1 was identified as Cheryl Colby (69) of Perkinsville, VT. Investigation revealed Colby was traveling east on VT Route 103. Colby pulled vehicle #1 to the right on a right curve due to fatigue and inattention. Vehicle #1 left the south shoulder of the roadway, causing damage to the passenger side and undercarriage of the vehicle.

The crash rendered the vehicle inoperable. No injuries. Vehicle #1 was removed by Carrara’s Towing due to disabling damage. Mount Holly Rescue Squad assisted at the scene.
