SUMMARY OF CRASH: On 08/11/2021 at approximately 1838 hours, Vermont State Police responded to a motorcycle vs truck crash on Willoughby Lake Rd in the Town of Barton. Vehicle #2 was traveling south on RT 16 when vehicle #1 attempted to pull out of the driveway and cross Route 16 onto Fisk Rd when the vehicles collided. The operator of vehicle #2 , Vincent Martin, 53 of Brownington, stated he was traveling south when he saw Vehicle #1 cross the road. Martin stated he hit the brakes and hit the back end of vehicle #1. The operator of vehicle #1, Kelly Humphrey, 28 of Barton, stated she was pulling out of her driveway in a blind spot and did not notice vehicle #2 approaching and colliding into her rear passenger side bumper. Martin had minor non-life threatening injuries and was transported by Orleans EMS to North Country Hospital. Kelly reported no injuries.
