You might be wondering if you have to meet with me in person if you are in a car accident. We are currently not meeting our clients inside and typically people will call me first for our initial conference rather than meeting in person. We also meet people via Zoom.
I will then send a retainer letter for our contingency fee agreement, health information authorizations and employment authorizations to our clients in any way that they would prefer to receive them. For example, I provide the documentation via Docusign, email with attachments, mail with a stamped self-addressed return envelope or by facsimile. Docusign is a program that is pretty cool which allows you to sign and return the documents electronically. Many of our clients have been opting for signing the authorizations in the retainer letter via Docusign.
