SUMMARY OF CRASH:
On the afternoon of 05/15/20 Troopers from the Vermont State Police Barracks in St. Johnsbury responded to the report of a vehicle into the Center Towers Store on Memorial Drive in St. Johnsbury. Investigation found that the operator mixed up the pedals and depressed the gas instead of the brake while in front of the store. Subsequently, the vehicle traveled a short distance into the building, causing severe damage to the structure. EMS responded as a precautionary measure to assess the operator. No injuries were reported from either the operator or individuals inside the store.
