SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 05/13/20 at approximately 0724 hours, Troopers from the Vermont State Police were detailed to the area of VT RT 116 South near Cobble Road in the Town of Bristol for a reported traffic crash involving a single vehicle. Upon arrival to the area it was learned the female operator (G. Lyles) was entrapped in her vehicle and was unconscious.

Preliminary investigation indicated Lyles was traveling southbound at an unknown speed. Lyles vehicle traveled off the road and collided with a tree and power pole before rolling onto its left side coming to an uncontrolled rest on VT RT 116 South. Members of the Bristol and New Haven Fire Departments arrived and extricated Lyles from her vehicle. Members of the Bristol and Middlebury Rescue arrived and provided emergency first aid and care for Lyles.

Lyles was transported to UVM for evaluation and later released with no serious injuries.
